Since I have several gluten free friends I’m always looking for something that really tastes good, yet ok for them to eat. This is one of those recipes. Enjoy! Ingredients 2 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon espresso powder, optional but good The post Oogy Gooey Fudge Cookies appeared first on phyllis-sather.com.

Small things. They seem to take up more time than anything else – change that diaper, wipe that nose – again! Some of our days are made up of small, uninteresting, or even boring things.  It doesn’t matter if you are the CEO of a huge company or a stay at home mom there will be a lot of repetition and some things you The post Small Things Can Make a Big Difference appeared first on phyllis-sather.com.

  • Celebrating Father’s Day
Father’s Day For the past 27 years we have been at this cabin on Father’s Day. We’re At The Cabin! That means we’ve had to plan ahead for how we will celebrate. We usually do breakfast in bed, which was so much fun when our children were young. They were 4, 2, and 3 months old the first year we came here. • We’re At The Cabin!
This is the 27th year we’ve rented the same cabin from another Christian couple. What a blessing. Things we enjoy We have so many memories and traditions here that it is still everyone’s favorite vacation. It’s nothing fancy, but we’ve certainly enjoyed it. In fact we enjoy it because it isn’t fancy. It’s clean and well kept, but well worn too. I don’t fuss about glasses The post We’re At The Cabin! appeared first on phyllis-sather.com.

  • My Adventure of Being Home Alone
Home Alone – An Adventure It’s been years since I’ve spent any amount of time home alone. As a wife, mother, and homeschool mom, that just doesn’t happen. As I drove home from dropping our daughters off at the airport I found myself dreading walking into an empty house. My husband and son were working. The girls were gone. • You’re Gonna Love This Easy Cheese Sauce
I’ve been making this cheese sauce for years and years. It’s very simple and difficult to mess up unless you make it so spicy no one can eat it. Even then a little more cheese/milk and it can be saved. You might just have a lot of it. Don’t worry – it will disappear in no time.   Print Cheese sauce Ingredients 1 pound spicy The post You’re Gonna Love This Easy Cheese Sauce appeared first on phyllis-sather.com.

Can you imagine 5 burnt brats on the bottom of your favorite pan? I couldn’t either, until the smell of beer brats wafting up the stairs became the smell of burnt beer brats. Running to the kitchen I imagined it starting on fire any moment. I had filled the pan full, brought it to a boil, and then turned it down to simmer that The post A Sorry Lunch, Or Who Burnt the Brats? appeared first on phyllis-sather.com.

We Are Giving Away Four Instant Pots My Instant Pot Story I received an Instant Pot for Christmas. It was on sale and my family knows how much I love a bargain. How could they not get it for me?
